The Canadian Geriatrics Society’s 29th Annual Scientific Meeting was held at the Park Hyatt hotel, in Toronto, from April 23–25, 2009.

The 29th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Canadian Geriatrics Society offered health care professionals the opportunity to share information and resources, so that those caring for aging adults in Canada and around the world might speak in unison as they work within institutions and with governments to improve elder care.

On November 6, 2008, SOLIDAGE, the McGill University-Université de Montréal Research Group on Frailty and Aging, in collaboration with FEDERATION CJA, hosted an international symposium on chronic disease and aging. These two key issues are major and inextricable challenges that Quebec and healthcare systems around the world are presently facing (Program).


The 4th Canadian Colloquium on Dementia was held October 18-20, 2007 in Vancouver, BC.

The 4th CCD was a meeting of professionals devoted to presenting cutting-edge research on dementia, and educating participants on trends in the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
